Bull in a China Shop

Emily served as the Associate Director for Bull in a China Shop directed by Kels Ervi and written by Bryna Turner. This show, a co-production by Second Thought Theatre and Amphibian Stage, played in both Fort Worth and Dallas to high acclaim. The play centers on Mary Woolley, an early feminist and longtime president of Mount Holyoke College.

Associate Director's Cohort at Second Thought

Second Thought Theatre in Dallas, Texas invited Emily to be a part of their 2026 Directing Cohort. This program supports emerging artists by giving them hands-on experience in the rehearsal room. Members serve as an Associate Director on a Second Thought show, stage scenes with local actors, and direct staged readings,.

JOB at Teatro Dallas

Emily made her professional directing debut at Teatro Dallas with JOB by Max Wolf Friedlich to critical acclaim. A psychological thriller, JOB zooms in on two careerists of different generations, genders and political paradigms to examine what it means to be a citizen of the internet and our obligation to help the people who need it most.
